On September 14th, many of our cadets went on a field trip to Admiral Baker for our annual Cadet Picnic! During this event, fourteen different schools came together to compete in a plethora of athletic competitions ranging from tug of war with our strongest to relay races with our fastest! Once the cadets got off the bus, cadets began to stretch in a company warm up. Cadets were then sent to the field to form for the Opening Ceremony. After Brigade had introduced themselves, the competitions had begun. We started with a tank tube relay race, then moved to a sack race. Afterwards, we sent competitors to participate in an egg balance race and medicine ball. Then came a basketball challenge, and afterwards came lunch. We ended with a Brigade Talent Show before heading off the Tug of War. After all activities were completed, we ended off forming as a Brigade once more, then headed our way back to the school after the event was over. Overall, it was a fun event for many of the cadets to enjoy and we cannot wait to compete again next year!
