On December 14th, cadets from our Canyon Hills NJROTC Unit had the honor of participating in the annual Wreaths Across America Ceremony held at Greenwood Memorial Park. This meaningful event brought together cadets from 13 other schools within our district brigade, united by a shared mission to honor and remember the brave servicemen and women who have sacrificed for our country. The ceremony began with a heartfelt tribute, where attendees gathered to pay their respects and reflect on the legacy of those who have served in the armed forces. Following the opening remarks, our cadets dispersed throughout the park, placing wreaths on the graves of fallen heroes with solemn respect and patriotism. Each wreath served as a symbol of gratitude, ensuring that the memory of these individuals lives on during the holiday season. This event was not only an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made by our military but also a chance for cadets to give back in a meaningful way before concluding the year. By participating in the Wreaths Across America Ceremony, our unit demonstrated our deep appreciation for those who serve and protect our nation. It was a humbling and memorable way to close out 2024 and head into Winter Break with a renewed sense of purpose and gratitude.
